Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Ruabon

A483, Ruabon, Wrexham LL14 6YY, UK – 01978 824440

Very tasty quality food and good service. This was my second visit to Maahis the first trip was excellent and I was not disappointed. The food was excellent, very fresh tasting and each dish was clearly seaparaly prepared (some restaurants you go to all the curries look and taste worrying similar). The meat was also was of good quality which isn't always the case. I opted for the naga which is my usual favourite and it was spicy and tasty as it should be. Portions a generous, so much so that they kindly wrapped up half to take with me. Everyone enjoyed their meals and would return. Staff were friendly and attentive despite being very busy. Only slight let down is the ambiance (former little chef) but this is more than made up for by the food. We visited on a sat night Well worth a visit, one of the best Indians in the area.

Brilliant food every single time, can dine in or takeaway and the quality is always top notch. Sunday buffet is great value and definitely recommended. Best Indian in the area by miles and the staff and owner are also very friendly and welcoming. Can't recommend enough :)

The Telford Inn

New Rd, Trevor, Llangollen LL20 7TT, UK – 01978 820469

Very friendly and polite staff, the food is very good and plentiful. The homemade steak pie is one of the best I have ever tried and I would highly recommend it. My only problem was I couldn't eat the full meal because of the generous portions that where offered. Well recommended and I will definitely call again. Thank you.

After some tough climbs in the nearby mountain faces, this is an excellent place for a refreshing drink and some delightful grub. Make the most of this easy to find and easy to park, dog friendly inn, named after one of our infamous engineers. This inn is a most welcome site for those who spend their days on the canals, park up and enjoy the ambiance and hospitality.

Wynnstay Arms

High St, Ruabon, Wrexham LL14 6BL, UK – 01978 822187

Drinks are Cheap and always plenty of people in here. Something about the general atmosphere puts me of a little though, it feels a bit like it's trying to be a little upmarket or exclusive and it's not working. Perhaps it's just me being awkward. Why not just go in and see for yourself, it's really quite good.

Excellent food. Friendly staff. Great value. Will stay again when I'm in Ruabon
